

PHMI works to develop and support a quality infrastructure to raise the standard of care across all levels of our client organizations. We collaborate with our clients to encourage and establish an ongoing critical review of all aspects of the provision of care, in order to prepare them to identify problems and implement preventive measures designed to promote good practice. This undertaking involves creating policies and procedures to institute global best practices; frequent interactions between health care quality experts and our client's clinical, administrative, and executive staff; and train-the-trainer workshops focused on areas such as patient safety, health care reporting and measurement, medical error management, medication safety, infection control, and consumer and patient satisfaction. These collaborations emphasize multi-disciplinary participation in quality efforts in order to foster cross-departmental communication and encourage all hospital personnel to play a role in improving and managing quality.
