Lebanese American University (LAU) is developing the LAU School of Medicine, a state-of-the-art academic medical institution based in Byblos, Lebanon. At the core of LAU's medical school will be an innovative new curriculum that will be modeled after top medical schools in the United States, and built around an eight-year combined undergraduate/graduate medical education program. Designed to meet the needs of 21st century medicine, and supported by world-class research facilities and basic science faculty, this curriculum will closely integrate clinical and basic science and offer new models for education. We are currently working with LAU to develop the facilities and the educational and organizational infrastructure that will support LAU School of Medicine's goal of becoming a world-class academic medical institution.
