

Carl Gustav Carus Technische Universität Dresden (TUD), Dresden, Germany is a technical university with a strong focus on research and the integration of problem-based teaching among the medical, dental, engineering, and business schools. TUD operates a university hospital in Dresden, while the 14 faculties focus on the schools of engineering science, humanities and social science, natural science and medicine. Faculty from the institution continue to work with counterparts at Harvard to explore and implement innovations in curriculum for all six years of the medical program. Each year a select group of final-year medical students from the school complete rotations in Harvard Medical School-affiliated teaching hospitals.
