Given the global shortage of health care professionals, the number of public and private schools for health care professionals has been increasing dramatically in the world. PHMI has instituted a program to help partners plan, develop, and implement new schools and programs for future physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals. PHMI works with partners in the areas of needs assessment, regulatory processes, strategic planning, curriculum development and implementation, faculty recruitment and development, student services, facilities and technology design and development, including IT, and continued evaluation and review.
