PHMI works with academic institutions to design and develop curricula that address the learning needs of medical professionals across the continuum of education: undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate, and continuing professional development. We strive to impress upon our partners the value of active learning experiences, problem- and case-based teaching, evidence-based medicine, and diverse discussion formats in a practice-based environment. Our curriculum design and development efforts may work in parallel with faculty development and tutor training programs designed to help faculty integrate new courses and teaching practices and prepare them to drive newly designed curricula.
