Harvard Medical International’s first ever global health care forum, World Class Medicine: Creating Clinical Care Centers of the Future, reviewed the recent trends in health care globalization and discussed the opportunities and challenges these trends present. Held at the Westin Copley Place hotel in Boston on September 29-30, 2007, participants had the chance to interact with HMI staff and partners while learning about the dramatic changes in the international healthcare market.
The Globalization of Health Care
On June 21, 2007, more than 150 faculty, staff and students from HMS and the Affiliated Hospitals attended The Globalization of Health Care at the New Research Building. The conference illustrated developments in the global health care community, as viewed through the lens of HMI’s work with its institutional partners.
